What's Hot and What's Not?
Coming to church with your breast hung low and your thighs on a rise when you know better! Yes, Jesus said, "come as you are!" But for those who have been in the church long enough knows what's hot and what's not. Dress modestly in every situation. You can wear what you want, when you want, but it's how you do it. Ladies, what do you think? And men, please be kind because ya'll can be out of line, too, with the high afros with the picks sticking out almost cutting sister Mary as she leaps for joy. Stop going to the sanctuary looking for "Mr. Right" because you might find, "Mr. Fright" who's full of demons. I love my sisters and brothers. Just keeping it real!

Come as you are. I really like the comment earlier. When this is stated it's real meaning is simply "bring who you are to Jesus" Not what you where. Let me pose this question. If you were invited to the White House to have dinner with the president. How would you dress? When we go to the sanctuary depending on the service we are meeting the real King. Come clean, come fresh, and yes come as you are but be mindful of your intentions.

Most certainly. We're not in the department to judge one another and we tend to find that a lot in the church. Each and every one of us has a personal relationship with God. What His mission is for one servant may not be for the next one. But as you said, if we were going to the White House, what would be appropriate to wear? If we were invited to a football game could we wear that same satin gown? As individuals we know what's right and what's wrong. Now some of us aren't fortunate enough to wear a suit or dress to church, but wear what you have and know that God knows your heart and eventually He will bless you with the appropriate attire for every occasion. It's up to you to do the right thing. Author, ACT
